Program Structure & Sequential Curriculum
Saturday Academy is a structured 7‑week program. Each lesson builds directly on the previous week, and the curriculum is not designed for drop‑in, casual, or “sip‑and‑sew” style attendance. Students must commit to the full 7‑week session to participate.
Missing a week means missing a full lesson. Makeup sessions are not offered during an active cycle. Missed lessons can only be completed in the next 7‑week session.
This policy ensures fairness to all students and maintains the integrity of the learning sequence.
Payment Policy
Students may choose to pay in full or use the weekly payment plan.
- Weekly payments are a payment plan, not a week‑by‑week attendance option.
- Students on a weekly plan are still committing to the full 7‑week program.
- Failure to complete a weekly payment results in immediate removal from the program and forfeiture of the seat.
- All payments (full or weekly) are non‑refundable.
Refunds, Cancellations & Withdrawals
All payments are non‑refundable.
If a student withdraws mid‑session, remaining weeks are forfeited. If the instructor must cancel a class due to emergency, the class will be rescheduled.
Attendance & Punctuality
Class begins promptly at 10:00 AM.
Because the building is locked on weekends, the instructor will be downstairs for a limited time to admit students. Late arrivals may not be admitted due to building access restrictions. Missed time cannot be made up.
Repeated no‑shows may result in removal from the program.
Enrollment Minimum
Each session requires 5 enrolled students to launch. If only one student signs up, the session will be postponed and student will be notified.
Materials & Supplies
A supply list will be provided before Week 1. Students are responsible for bringing required materials each week. Limited studio supplies may be available for purchase if needed.
Studio Conduct & Safety
Students must follow all safety instructions regarding machines, tools, and equipment.
The following are not permitted:
- Unsafe behavior
- Disruptive conduct
- Intoxication
- Food or drinks near machines
Violation of safety or conduct rules may result in removal without refund.
Photography & Media
The studio may photograph or record portions of the class for educational or promotional use. Students may opt out by notifying the instructor in writing before Week 1.
Communication Policy
All class‑related communication must be via email. DMs may not receive immediate responses. The instructor replies within 24–48 hours on business days.
Privacy
Group emails may be sent using BCC to protect student privacy. Student information is kept confidential and used only for class‑related communication.
